Chris Foley

Commonwealth Edison Company 

Chris is the Director of Energy Policy at ComEd, providing regulatory and energy policy advice on issues affecting ComEd at both the state and federal levels.  His role covers multiple subject matter areas including renewable energy, distributed generation, demand response, transmission, and interaction with competitive markets.

From 2001 to 2014, he was Managing Director and Associate General Counsel at Edison Mission Energy, providing legal counsel to a diverse portfolio of coal, gas, wind, and trading subsidiaries.  Prior to joining Edison Mission, he was a partner in a law firm in Maryland, concentrating in civil and criminal litigation.

He has a BA degree from Washington College, a JD from Widener University, and an MBA from The George Washington University.
